Welcome to Westgate!

Responding to the Good News of God's grace, compassion and justice
as a multicultural community engaged in the neighborhood and the world.

Westgate Baptist Community is a Baptist Church, formed in 1982 through the coming together of three smaller Baptist Churches - Yarraville Baptist, South Kingsville Baptist and Kingsville Baptist.

For over twenty years, the Church has sought to live out the good news in our local area, responding to local and global issues and seeking to be faithful disciples of Jesus in all areas of individual and communal life.
You are welcome to join us for our regular gathering for worship, children's and youth groups.

We meet on Sundays at 10am, at 16 High Street, Yarraville.

A mission statement developed in the early nineties reflects the basis on which Westgate was founded and continues to operate:

We are a Community of Jesus followers
centred in Yarraville and South Kingsville.
In response to God’s grace, compassion and justice
we want to live out this good news
in our community, neighbourhood and world.
